Climate Solutions International (CSI) provides municipalities with software solutions and guidance to implement Climate Budgeting; a way of capital infrastructure budgeting that looks at all projects for their mitigation and resilience impacts as well as for their capital and operating cost impacts.
To meet the needs of municipal budgets and operating realities, we have two ways to deliver these solutions;
A modular approach coupled with group learning in a cohort of other similar municipalities
A traditional Software as a Service subscription with all-in pricing for the municipality that needs less guidance.
CSI is now accepting applications for our new CAPimpact Alpha Cohort for buildings, a collaborative peer network of similarly sized cities and counties designed to help local governments track and plan climate-resilient building portfolios using our brand-new alpha release software.
Infrastructure Modules
Municipalities can select from five bundles of modules in CSI’s CAPimpact software to support project and programmatic development of capital plans and budgets:
Available Now
Buildings - Buildings and their immediate environs, landscaping, drainage, parking, and lighting, including energy efficiency and supply.
Coming Fall 2026Transportation - All transportation modes and associated rights-of-way, with transport-related stormwater, lighting, and landscaping, including energy.
Water and Waste - Water supply, wastewater, solid waste, and hazardous waste conveyance, treatment, and disposal, and related energy supplies.
Nature-Based Solutions - Natural and semi-natural ecosystems services such as green infrastructure, in parks and stormwater systems.
District and Power Systems - Utilities such as power, heating/cooling, and communications, and district systems such as utility scale energy and data centers.
